What exactly Inerface Trip Stop program will do?

Hi,

I would like to know that when exactly this Interface Trip Stop program will be triggered and what it will do..

As per my knowledge, it will be triggered right afetr ship confirm process is completed and it will post the transactions happened in OM to INV module.

Also I would like to know that is it related to Trips and Stops concept in OM?

Can some one please explain in detail about this standard program?
