Validation Type of a Valueset as Value

Hi All

 

There is a requirement to have validation Type of a Value set as Table Method for one of the segment of COA.Is it advisable to have validation type of a value set of a segment as Table Method.

if we opt this will there be any challange in fetching data in FSG reports. Besides that will there be any issue in defing rollup group & Summary account. As in Table type value set system will not allow me to choose the option of Allow Posting and Allow budgeting.
