Did somebody successfully deploy a VM on ODA 2.5

Hi %,
is there somebody in this community (not an Oracle Employee), who successfully completed the hole deployment including virtual machines and running databases on ODA 2.5,
following the origin documentation.

I am asking, because I am free in my choice between VM and real, but I will go the old way ( no VM ) if there are no success stories with VM.
