cstpostimportaad.sql takes long time to run during 12.1.1 upgrade.

 cstpostimportaad.sql takes a long time to run(about 3-4 hours) during the 12.1.1 upgrade driver. Samething noticed while applying 12.1.3 upgrade patch. Is there a way to improve the performance on this patch?
