mvc audit drain messages

An mvcrpt detail shows an mvc as B(roken).   Running an mvcdrain-eject yields this message at job end:

SLS6765I DRAIN/RECLAIM FOR MVC M01058 COMPLETED LOGICAL EOT:00000000 VTV COUNT:0 DELETED VTV COUNT:0

Seeing vtv count 0 lead me to believe that thusly this mvc is now clean.  However running a subsequent audit against this mvc I see messages such as

P34689 VTV NOT CURRENT (BLOCK:5546A210)
P34875 VTV ADDED AS SECONDARY COPY (BLOCK:5646BA5F)
P04730 LINK TO OLD VERSION ON MVC M00266 REMOVED

125 VTVS FOUND FOR MVC:M01058

What is meant by "vtv not current"?
What is meant by "added as secondary copy"?
