FYI Notification to Requestor for Purchase Order Approval

I see there are Enhancement Requests out there to be able to notify a Requestor (Purchase Req) when a PO has been created/Approved.  Can someone tell me if this is possible via AME for Purchase Orders (via FYI Notification, or some other method)?  Thanks,
