Duplicate Parent and Component Error

Hi All,

We are attempting to use a BOM to consume a single broken part (move it, really) from B/P#1 and send it to B/P #2 for repairs. Upon completion of repairs, the part then needs to go back to B/P#1. 

We have tried to get the Shop Floor folks to simply (IT) the broken part to from BP#1 to BP#2 and then (IT) back again once repairs are completed using a routing sequence.

Unfortunatly, we are a medical devices company with strict tracking and tracing requirements and the use of routings leaves numerous fields and open to both employee errors and status code mistakes/manipulations.
