Configuring ASR Manager using Sideband management in ILOM
Hi experts,
I'm not sure if my questions are appropriate for this community, but my customer has a setup comprising of Oracle Linux (VMware) and 2 T4-4 (Solaris x86)servers.
The OASM [ASR Manager] is installed on Linux (VMware) and I'm configuring ASR using ILOM on the T4-4 servers.
As the OASM [ASR Manager] doesn't have a physical ILOM connection, so referencing from the ASR guide, I believe I should use the Sideband management method.
The questions customer have:
1. if I switch from using the NETMGMT port in T4-4 to using the onboard NET0 port(for communicating to OASM), will it affect any operations on the server, as the NET0 port is already in use? Will this also imply that customer can no longer manage the server via NETMGMT port?
