Error APP-PER-52474 Creating Employment

Hello,
I have an ex-employee who needs to be employee again, I go to create to create employment and I got the following error:

APP-PER-52474: You must enter an original date of hire which is the same or earlier than start date

I can see any place I can put this information.

Anyone experienced this error before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
