Dynamic/Staggered Idle session timeouts?

Is it possible to have/enable dynamic or staggered Idle Session timeouts in Oracle Databases (11g 11.1.0.7))?

We would like to implement the idle session timeout for our user base but we want it unlimited (no timeouts) during normal business hours and idle session 30 minutes for after business hours and/or in the weekends.

This will have to be set for current active connections as well.

So if someone logs on in the morning then from 5pm the session timeout changes to 30 minutes.

I have tested but any changes to the idle session timeout values will only affect new sessions and not existing sessions?
