Issue to send email through concurrent request

Hello Everyone,
I have problem to send email through concurrent request, as I did not receive the email after I change delivery option to email.
I set the value for both FND: SMTP Host and FND: SMTP Port to the exchange server, and checked the OPP log see it start to deliver the email.
However, I did not receive any email.

My question is that whether it is the exchange server require authentication in order to send email out, so it did not get authenticate to send out email.
What is the process that email get through in the concurrent request?
