DFF in ADI

We created a DFF field that is required on the JE lines when certain accounts are entered.  It works perfectly in manual journal entry screens and will not allow you to save the journal without entering the DFF fields.  However, you can create a journal in ADI and use those accounts and even with validate DFF fields selected the journal is uploaded and imported without an error.  Also, both segments of the DFF are LOVs but when I added line DFF to the ADI spreadsheet, I can't get the LOV to come up.  Are there other fields i need to
