Incorrect date time in Oracle Linux 6 Guest on top of Oracle VM

edited Feb 21, 2013 10:32AM in Linux Operating System (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered
Hello.
I have an OEL 6 virtual machine running on top of OVM.

When I type command date: Thu Feb 21 09:24:23 CST 2013

When in it should be: Thu Feb 15:25:20 UTC-6 2013

I checked the /etc/sysconfig/clock and this is the output (and it is correct):

ZONE="America/Costa_Rica"
UTC=true
ARC=false

I checked the /etc/adjtime and this is the output:

0.0 0 0.0
0
UTC

Current npt service is down because we dont want to use NTP?

How can I make this virtual machine to show correct date.

Thank you very much in advance.
