how to apply a OWB-patch on ODA

 Hi,
I'm new working with ODA and read a few documents about it and worked with the ODA as a DBA for a few weeks now.   I've installed a couple of databases and Grid Control on the ODA, but now I want to apply a database-patch for one of the databases who uses Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB).
I do not find information about how to apply a database-patch for OWB on my ODA.
In the ODA-manual it says :
"You can only patch Oracle Database Appliance with an Oracle Database Appliance patch bundle. Do not use Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Database patches, or Linux distribution patches.
