Is increasing db_file_multiblock_read_count parameters increases any performance?

Hi,
Is increasing db_file_multiblock_read_count parameters increases any performance?

I think it is verl less value.

db_file_multiblock_read_count value in our environment is 8.

block size=8
DB: 10.20.0.5
OEL 5.7 64bit

Please guide me.
