Purchasing 9.1 and Commitment Control

Hi,

I had a question in regards to closed purchase orders and budget statuses. I am at a client where they implemented commitment control in November 2011. They are now running the PO close process for the first time and I noticed that there are purchase orders that were closed but have a budget status of Error. These purchase orders never went through the commitment control process originally because they were created prior to November 2011. The Budget status in error because the amount of the PO exceeds what is open on the project. My question is since the PO is
