1099 MISC

Hello,

I am trying to see if 1099 Misc can be generated using BI Publisher.  The very first thing that I am stumbling on is how to put text form fields in the 1099 misc forms that I downloaded from the irs.gov site?? All the fields seem to be grayed out and the document security settings seem to indicate that changing the document is not allowed.  I am trying to use Adobe Acrobat Pro V9 for this.

Can any one provide steps on how to do this?
