I was looking in the Support Knowledge base and came across this document

Faq's On Sim Receiving And Stock Counts Functionality [ID 433530.1]

 Is there some kind of receipt number generated while receiving merchandise from a  supplier or warehouse?

Yes. We do track a receipt number (in the DO_CTL_INV table - the type will be (TY_ICD) 'RCPT') and the reference will be to the original shipment record (REFERENCE_ID_ICD).
