Is there a way to get the next interface id in the INTFC_FINPHY_SS_A excel to CI

The last used interface id is stored on the am installation setup so I am wondering if it's possible to retrieve this information prior to loading the interface tables. Ultimately I'd like to use the next id and publish back to the excel to CI to update the rows being processed. I'm not sure if this is an AM question or if I should move this to the Tools community.
