Integration between PO, AP and PC when the PC Business Unit and PO/AP Business Units do not have mat

At the client I am at they have integration setup between PO, AP and PC but with only 1 PC Business Unit. They have multiple currency BU's for PO and AP but the PC business unit is setup with USD. From what I am seeing when the PO and AP Business Units are in a foreign currency and the PC Business Unit is in USD there are different results after running cost collections compared to when all 3 business units have the same currency.
