GPFS certification question with RAC

Hi Experts,

 My Customer just upgrade RAC from 10g to 11.2.0.3, GPFS is 3.2.1.17. AIX 6.1. It works well now.

 However, according to ‘IBM General Parallel File System (GPFS) 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.5 and Oracle RAC (Doc ID 1376369.1)’,

For GPFS Ver 3.2, on AIX 6.1,Oracle certifies (copied from attached document)

 

6.1-TL3-SP1

GPFS 3.2.1.14

RAC 11.2.0.1

 

And for RAC 11.2.0.3, it requires at least GPFS 3.4.0.2. relevant info say

 

6.1-TL6-SP03 (IZ88711)

GPFS 3.4.0.2

RAC 11.2.0.1, 11.2.0.2, 11.2.0.3

 

Customer wants to double check

Does Oracle support RAC 11.2.0.3 on GPFS 3.2? Is it mandatory for them to upgrade to GPFS3.4? That would be a lot of work for them.

If not support, is there any function/new feature in 11.2.0.3 that make it not support?
