PO CLOSED_DATE is null in PO_HEADERS_ALL table for some PO's

Dear Gurus,

Need your help on this issue.Currently we are seeing a issue where even after closing the POs system puts them back to an Open Status again.Not sure Why ..

This issue is happening for few PO's only.As part of analysis found that the PO's which are having this kind of issue for them the CLOSED_DATE is NULL in PO_HEADERS_ALL table.

Could some body sugget me why the CLOSED_DATE is null and what does it mean.I have verified in metalink but not found any note or any document on this.
