R12.1.3 : What does GL Posted Date mean on Transaction Form?

Hi All.

I wanted to know the intrepretation of GL Posted Date feild in the Transcation form--> Distributions Screen

Does it mean

1. Accounting of the trasnaction is transferred to GL

2. Does it mean cREATE Accounting is done in  FINAL mode and does not check whether the SLA data is transferred to GL OR NOT?
