Trail File Sizing and CPU Utilization for OGG Process

 Hi,
1. Would like to know how to estimate Trail File Size for OGG? Based on the documentation its stated that it should be only 30% from the average Redo Log Generation on daily basis.

- Have tested running OGG in a Test environment where a 500MB redolog file generates a 10GB Trail File. Not sure why the size is so huge. 

2. On the OGG process, it takes up easily 60% of the CPU utilization. Anyway to findout why it takes so much resources to run?
