Uom Different from Requisition to a Purchase order Uom - P43060

Hello

Does anybody know why when creating  a non -stock purchase order from a non-stock requistion, the unit of measure on the purchase order is EA when the requisition was created with a M2 unit of measure.

eg, We request a length of steel that is measured in unit of measure M2, no item code is required as its a non-stock and no itme code setup in JDE.

Requsition displays uom as m2, but when the purchase order is created the uom becomes ea.
