JDBC Thin Clients in V$Session

Hi Experts,

   whenever I quering from v$session i am noticing Program column has JDBC thin Client for many sessions whose logon_time is 2 days or 3 days before.

  what are these sessions actually?

  can i kill the JDBC thin client sessions whose logon_time is morethan 2 days?

please help me.
