Question on JTFTASK workflow

Hello
I have a requirement to modify the existing notification when ever a Service Task Assigned to a technician. I found that JTFTASK is the workflow which will get fired when ever a task get assigned to a technician as per a note i found in metalink. But  I am not getting the notification to the technician when ever task got assigned (Profile: Task Manager: automatically launch workflow’ is set to 'Yes' at site level) and when i checked the wf_notification I am seeing a message_type 'CSFALERT' and message_name 'ASSIGNED_MSG' is getting fired but not the JTFTASK. Can anybody got the same requirements or have any inputs will be appreciated.
