Capital Asset Management - Update PM Projection

 In case of meters like Hrs , Fuel or Miles , How PM projections can be created based on the past history ?

e.g. Service interval defined = 500 HR for any equipment. If 1st service came due after 500 Miles in 60 days , 2nd service came due after 1000 Miles in 30 days. If Update PM projections program is run for a period of 52 weeks it should generate messages of service due after every 45 days ( Average of 1st and 2nd Service interval ).

PM projection program makes use of occurance field on PM schedule application to project date in messages for maintenance due in future. Is there any way to populate and update this field automatically by system based on history transactions ?
