How to increase the logout time?

My developers are complaining that on dev instance they get logged out every fewhours from ebs. They want to increase it to 9 hrs. How can I do that? Is that a some kind of system profile change? I am not sure if ICX: session timeout is the one they are talking about? But then, if set session timeout too hight, it might cause JVM issue? Please advise. Thank you very much.
