Enabling AutoConfig on a New Oracle Home

Hi,
For my Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.2 environment ( IBM AIX 64 bir / Oracle 11.2.0.1)

I'm upgrading Oracle Database from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.3  using note ID 1058763.1


During the 23rd step, Implement & Run AutoConfig, I have started using another document, ID 387859.1 Using AutoConfig to Manage System Configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12

In this document, 3.2. Enabling AutoConfig on a New Oracle Home  I have perfored the first & second steps and now I'm confused.

In the 3rd step it asks to Install JRE on the Database tier. First I couldn't decide am I on "fully certified" platform or  "Database tier only" platform. I will refer to Metalink
