changing the default salesperson on the site use details

We had a sales person leave the company.  I need to update sales person on the business purpose site user details for about 3000 customers.

I have changed the profile, the roles, enddated the sales person, created the new sales person, but the old one is still active on about 3000 customers.  I hope I do not have to go into each one and change it.
