Need cartonization in order to consolidate across deliveries?

 Hi,

I have a question regarding LPN based consolidation across deliveries. Does the consolidation require use of cartonization? We don't use cartonization in Oracle WMS. I have tried a LPN consolidation of two deliveries with same customer/ship-to in MobileApps, but received an error and it indicated that the LPNs are associated with different deliveries and can't be consolidated. Do I need to change some shipping exception setups? is there a documentation that shows the setup steps required for shipment consolidation?
