Notifications in Oracle Alerts

Hi,
I have a requirement wherein I need to send different types of notifications from the same periodic alert.
I fetch the operating unit in the query of the alert. The notification contents are dependant on the operating unit and hence we require multiple notifications to an alert or the contents of the notification needs to change dynamically based on the operatng unit.

Is it feasible in Oracle Alerts or can some one suggest an alternative solution for the same?
