Oracle Sourcing - AutoExtend functionality

We have an auction that Suppliers should bid against a Lot and its (associated) lines.
We enabled "Allow Auto Extend" with the following settings:

  1. Lowest Triggering Response Rank: 1
  2. Lines to AutoExtend (We tested with both options  "All Lines" and  "Lines that have triggered AutoExtend")
and in both cases a time extension occurred when
  • Rank changed for a line but Lot Rank remained the same
  • Supplier bid it's own best price and the rank didn't change  (both on lines and lot)

We are trying to find a way in order to have a time extension when the lot rank change, since you cannot award by line when using lot.
