How to disable unwanted message rules

Hi Everyone,

We recently had a few customers ask about how they can disable unwanted message rules.

"We have a configuration with some Templates and these templates have some rules applied. We are receiving messages like "Auditing Messages" that are not requested in any configuration option. "User XX logged in as SYSDBA". How can we disable these unwanted message rules?"
The answer was:
"If you are getting email messages,  check the email message itself -- it should contain the rule set / rule for which the notification was sent.   You can then adjust the rule to remove the metric so that is doesn't generate email notifications.  Also,  look at the details of the event itself in the console  (one easy way to do this is to click on the message in the email).   It should show you the metric for this alert.   Once you have that,  go
