Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Here's another great question from an internal forum that I wanted to pass along to you.

I just update cloud application plug-in to newest version (12.1.0.5.0). In Database Cloud Self Service Portal Setup -> Service Templates, I don't know what the Profile field does? What does it means? Because I can not find any profile to fill in this field. Do i need to create another profile for this one or not?

Answer provided by Development:

You need to create a respective profile. The profile will essentially define source (dbca template, RMAN backup, storage snapshot of db).
