Oracle Smart View Reporting and Analysis Framework message: "Unable to connect to the provider"

Hi,
I was working on designing a report in FR when the FR crashed and I had to restart the services in order to bring it back. Now, i can run the report in Workspace. But when trying to connect to Reporting and Analysis Framework in Smart View I get the following message:
Unable to connect to the provider".

Could anyone please suggest a fix for this?
