Hello,

we're monitoring a strange behavior of our RAC installation since quite some time.

System

Oracle RAC 11g 11.1.0.6.0

SLES10SP2 Linux 2.6.16.60-0.42.10-bigsmp #1 Tue Apr 27 05:11:27 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I already posted a question for this topic some time ago: May 25, 2011 2:23 AM "Reboot of both RAC nodes after network error". We have implemented some of the suggested changes and tried to follow the advise furthermore we found a bug report which states some problems with Oracge Clusterware 11g and SLES10: ORACLE NOTE 731599.1

"Issue Description

It is possible to see random node reboots induced by Oracle Cluster Synchronization Services Daemon (OCSSD) in RAC on Red Hat, Suse, and Oracle Enterprise Linux OS implementations with Oracle Clusterware releases 10.2.0.3 CRS Bundle Patch #3, 10.2.0.4, 11.1.0.6 and 11.1.0.7

Howdy, Stranger!
