Dropping PeopleSoft application schema takes very long time

We have several Peoplesoft instances in development env. Occasionally I need to drop the application schema but It takes a very long time. I tried both ways; first dropping the objects and the user and then drop user cascade. But both options take over 20hrs.
There are over 170K objects in the database. Most tables are empty as these dbs are in develeopment. Tablespaces are locally managed.

So PS db gurus, are there any other ways to drop user/objects faster? Anyone tried dropping tablespaces ( there are close to 200TBS) ?

Any information will be appreciated.
