Upgrade WLS 10.3.0 (10gR3) to 10.3.6 (11g) getting : "Product is not installed"

 Hello,
I have a client who installed Weblogic server (10gR3) 10.3.0, and would like to migrate to WLS 11g. 
For that, they have downloaded the patch wls1036_upgrade_generic.jar.
But when running it, getting to the "select your Oracle Home Middleware directory" and when selecting the existing one or a new directory, 
they are getting the "Product is not installed" message.

Now, also having installed a Weblogic server 10.3.6 (on other Unix platform). 
On their development platforms (Windows) they run the 10.3.0 release and would like to upgrade from 10.3.0 to 10.3.6.

Q1) The binary from which they have installed their machines is "wli10gR3_win32.exe" => Is it the right binary ?
