Can Bill Presentment email bills direct to customers?

I am looking at the bills pressentment capability and I cant see any capability documented to have the bills that it generates sent via email to customers.  It appears to support physically printing the bills or putting the same online (for iReceivables).
We need to email the bills direct to our customers and I want to find out whether we can even consider using this feature or stick to building BI Publisher reports to do the same.
