E1: OUTBND: Removing Leading and Trailing Spaces from Data Elements within RTE Messages (Doc ID 1535362.1)

This is working as designed.  Bug 11046273 - JMS -TRAIL SPACE ISSUE IN RTE was included in 8.98.4.0 Tools Release. This BUG resolves the issue where leading and trailing blanks were being written out in the RTE XML document for some data items which was causing issues when read by third party products.

If you have designed your integrations based on the RTE messages containing leading and trailing spaces in the elements before TR 8.98.4.x, you must modify your integrations after you upgrade your tools release. 

We have implemented this to meet industry standards for XML.
