Matching invoice to receipt taking long time

HI,

While matching invoice to receipt system is taking long time to search receipt no.

what all are the symptoms and possible ways to resolve this issue.

we are on to 11i.

steps to reproduse the issue:

create a standard invoice-->Voucher Number Generated.--> Click on Match Button-->enter Receipt Number and find. so when you click on find system gets stuck for searching receipt number and we have to wait long atleast for 5 min. to receipt number to come.
