Current effective date address is not correctly appearing

QUESTION: When Addresses by Effective Date is activated in the A/B Constants (P0009011), the current effective date address is not the first address to appear on Address Book Revisions (P01051), and it’s not displayed as the mailing address on Mailing Address Window (P01100W). Why?

Answer: As long as the Effective Address Update (P01840) program is run at regular intervals to update the system for the current effective address, the system will display the current address record in effect on Address Book Revisions (P01051) and when F17 (Mailing Address Window) is chosen on P01051.
