Want to Migrate the Oracle Database Objects (JD Edwards)

Want to Migrate the Oracle Database Objects (JD Edwards)

Note:  We know such big Database dump will create problems while importing but we have to try this option EXP/IMP only - Migration is Out of network.

Target OS : Linux

So my question which i would experts help is

1) While exporting such a Big dump do we need to consider Any specific parameter while Importing so that Import will not Fail(Other than UNDO Paramters/Temp Etc)
2) Any traces of documents which talks about import specific issues from AIX like (Column length issues/Types/ Character set issues?).
