'Receipt Correction'/'Return'

Hi,

We have made a blanket PO, its release and receipt for this.

After this we have made some corrections in item description of PO (through examine-->help) and got PO reapproved. Now new description is coming in release made.

But new description is not coming in receipt made.

Now what is the solution for this scenario? 

Whether 'Receipt Correction'/'Return' can be used in this?  Pls tell me process for receipt correction/return.

After correction, can we make new receipt for that release, so that new description will come in release.
