Add Textbox and Button on toolbar

Hi,
Is it possible to expose a text box and button besides the text box on toolbar?

I have added a toolbar item under existing toolbar Quick Print with HTML Type and Type as Edit for the text box.
However, the text box is not appearing on the toolbar.

Is there anything specific that needs to be done for this(Siebel version is 8.1)?

Let me know if you have any inputs related to the issue.
