Flagging Items that need to be ordered together

We have items that need to be combined to meet the supplier's minimum.  For example several species of wood items can be combined to meet the minimum quantity (All item separate item numbers).  Any ideas on how to flag the items so that the Buyer would know this when releasing from the DRP?  Thank you.
