Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Audit : Setting Policies

Dear All,

a couple of questions regarding audit settings (Solaris 10);

1) if i put -setpolicy +argv in the audit_startup file, why does the argument not get placed in the syslog version of the audit file?

2) is it possible to detect changes to the audit configuration without turning on audit of file write on the whole server?
