What is the use of field book code distribution group present in the Business Unit/Book Definition p

Hi All,

We are planning to implement Book code in our organization.

After enabling book code in AM the field book code distribution group is getting enabled in the Business Unit/Book Definition page.

Let us know what is the purpose of this field in that page?

We referred People books and we got the following description, but we couldn't understand. It would be great if you help us out with an example to understand better on this.

Book Code Distrib. Grp (book code distribution group)

If the Book Code option is activated from the Installation Options page, this field appears. The book code is an
